Welcome to the (EqIA) Equality Impact Assessment Public Sector Round Table
A Public Sector Round Table has been formed to give practitioners, decision makers, policy formers and planners a platform to discuss how Equality Impact Assessment (EqIA) can be used as a tool to promote equality in public sector organisations.
Promoting Equality through Impact Assessment
Practitioners with an interest in all types of EqIA will share experience of assessment methods, techniques and issues in order to develop good practice and raise industry standards.
How does it work?
Four themed events are planned for 2008 where presentation led discussions will examine the EqIA process, inclusive consultation, accessible design and diverse workforce recruitment.
Members from across the UK will use this site to provide them with an opportunity to contribute to and share an EqIA reference library.
